Howie was eagerly awaiting his new brother when we arrived home on Sunday, July 11. He gently said, "Welcome home Johnny" in his sweet little voice and then, "Welcome home Mommy. Welcome home Daddy." It was enough to make me cry.
Ever since we arrived home, Howie has been attentive to his little brother and making sure Johnny feels loved and properly cared for. I.e. He requested, "Daddy, pick Johnny up" when Johnny was crying for a moment.
