We have eliminated the step of moving Howie from the kitchen to the bathroom after mealtime by feeding him IN the bathtub. For now, he doesn't know the difference. We'll move him to the table when a) he is eating steak or b) when he can keep the yummies in his mouth. Whichever comes first!

Genius! So you just hose him down afterwards?
I have been trying to convince my wife that we should design a food catching contraption around the high chair in the kitchen, but this is definitely a good way to go.
