four.

Happy Birthday Johnny!

We celebrated with friends today.
It was Johnny's first friend party.

Another Lego theme-- Johnny was smitten with Howie's Lego party and wanted one of his own too.  Perfect.  This momma loves repeat parties.

We played games, went on a scavenger hunt, opened presents and ate cake.
His feedback after everyone had left?
"That...party...was....AWESOME."

We are so proud of you Johnny!

Happy 4th!

We celebrate the holiday in Findlay with family.
Then head back home to see the fireworks for the first time as a family.
Johnny has arrived as a "big boy" and was successful in staying up to see them.
He LOVED the show.  We all did.

Oh the Lake.... Sweet Bliss.

Camping in the Backyard

Rick and the boys decide to make summer official with a backyard camping excursion.
They checked all the boxes: tent, campfire, s'mores, hot dogs, catching lightening bugs and
swinging on the swing set with flashlights on their heads.

Putting up the tent was fun for the boys- they kept going in and out, in and out,
performing silly tasks that made things feel important and official.

Howie reads...

Johnny shoves the flashlight in his mouth...

Howie's 7th Birthday

Happy Birthday Howie!!

We rock the weekend with Legos.  A family grill-out was filled with kind words, hugs and pictures.  The kid party had lots of "Master Builder Challenges" as the children earned their Master Builder Badge.  The boys made Lego creations, played a Lego face game and ran around the house searching for the cake that Lord Business stole and hid.

We love you Howie....

Photo Booth

We put a photo booth out at Howie's 7th party.  I love this series of pictures that my sis took for us....

The Kindergarten Presents: Alphabet Adventures of Sometimes Y

Howie has his first public school musical tonight.  The children were darling and the teacher in me was applauding the way the school combined phonetic concepts to the music curriculum.

Howie has a speaking line, "What am I suppose to be?  Where do I fit in?"
We are so proud of him that is brings out enough family to fill an entire row of seats.

Great job Buddy!
