We bought a video camera. To test it out, here's a little clip of Becky showing off her belly.
... Even in Ohio. When raising two boys, each day is a new adventure. Some are good, some are sticky, some are proud, some are frustrating. We love each other and celebrate the family moments. All of these days add up to a life of crazy love and lots of fun.

Kindergartners' Perspectives on Pregnancy
My kindergartners have been a source of new perspectives and interesting questions throughout my pregnancy. Here are a few of my favorites...
Howie enjoys storytime after we eat lunch. Many days, the children can see him jumping around in my stomach as I read a story. Their eyes light up and they sit up a little straighter. They usually ask, "Did he like that story?" After a particularly robust exercise session by Howie, one of the little boys says to me as he is waving his arms, "Mrs. Stevens, it's like your baby is in there going, 'Let me out, let me out!' but he has no door." I told him that eventually Howie will have a door, but did not go into any further explanation. Thankfully, he didn't ask.
The children often ask me about his development, "Does he have legs? Does he have a nose? Does he have eyes?" The other day, we talked a little bit about how he does indeed have eyes and he can see light and darkness. A quiet lull hit the kindergarten crowd, then a child pipes up and says, "Can he see us right now?"
And the million dollar question that everyone is asking, "Mrs. Stevens, when will your baby come?" I just smile a little and shrug my shoulders, "When he is ready my friends, when he is ready."
They are throwing me a baby shower tomorrow. It should be a fun and insightful afternoon...
